What a form collects

A name, an email, and the notes you type. A campaign tag on the link you followed may be stored with that request. A honeypot field is ignored. Addresses are not written into the server log.

Lists

When the list desk is connected, a signup is sent as unconfirmed. A confirmation letter has to be accepted before the address is treated as opted in. The Halloween letter, a free-book claim, and the AJ Ghost newsletter are separate lists. An unticked box is not an opt-in.

Accounts and orders

A magic-link sign-in stores the email you confirm. An order stores the seat or module, the currency, and the payment reference returned by Razorpay. The house does not store a card number.

The library

Reading progress is saved in this browser, and on your account when you are signed in and the ledger is connected. Public-domain text is fetched from Project Gutenberg. Narration uses the browser voice unless a narration desk is configured.

Asking for a copy or a deletion

Write to the house from the address on the account. The data-deletion page explains the request. This page does not claim a record is already gone.
